SM Mall of Asia
SM Mall of Asia is definitely one of the go-to places this side of the country. Situated in a reclamation area at the heart of Pasay City, it is currently the Philippine's largest mall and third in the world in terms of floor area. It caters to everyone, from the lower classes to the middle and upper class.

Foreigners as well as Filipinos will surely enjoy the wide array of restaurants and shops located inside the mall. Shops like Zara, Topshop, Guess, Calvin Klein, Lacoste, Marrionaud (with all foreign beauty products one can possibly think of), Mango, and Terranova are to be found inside the mall.

Restaurants are also one of the main crowd-puller. A chain of the finest restaurants and bars are located at the back of the mall overlooking the Manila Bay. Tables are placed outside each and every restaurants to cater to people who simply wants to enjoy the view or/and feel the ocean breeze. Restaurants include Gerry's Grill, Aruba Bar, Prince of Jaipur, Cafe Breton, Lamesa Grill, and the Highlands Steakhouse (originally in Tagaytay Highlands) that serves the best steaks and fillet mignon in town.

If you're tired of the usual 2D cinemas here in Manila, you might want to try the San Miguel Coca-Cola IMAX theatre. It is the first ever IMAX theatre in the country with a screen as high as an eight-storey building and a seating capacity of 600 people. For the IMAX theatre, you will be charged 350 pesos per person compared to the regular cinemas that will cost you only 150 pesos max.

Just traverse the street and you'll get to the Manila Bay where you can stroll or sit at the esplanade with your friends. But make sure you can put up with the 100++ species of insects lurking around the bay.

One thing about the mall that i don't like is the massive crowd. I suggest do not go there on weekends especially on holidays because people are piling up everytime they have the chance to. People from all over the NCR are wanting to go there because the mall is really one of the finest in the country.

At the end of the day, there are some things you just can't help but talk about. Some things we just don't want to hear, and some things we say because we can't be silent any longer. Some things are more than what you say. They're what you do. Some things you say because you have no other choice. Some things you keep to yourself. And not too often, but every now and then, some things simply speak for themselves. - Dr. Meredith Grey
