Quick note on our field trip
Just a quick note about the field trip we had.It was the most boring, most time-consuming, money-wasting field trip I've even gotten myself into. It's also the one that I had the most pictures taken.

Now I have to sleep because my head is turning around due sleep deprivation.
zzZzZZZzzZzzZZzzZzzZzZz..

goodnight people. =)

Searching a guy in friendster is pathetic, especially if you'll never meet him again. =D
I HAD a crush on someone whom perhaps i won't meet again. I met him at this restaurant co-owned by the vocalist of mojofly and the bassist of session road in Makati and right there and then I fell in love with him. hahahaha. (Just don't take this seriously please. It's just my way of exaggerating things.) Apparently, he's a friend of the two owners and also lives in the same neighborhood.

He caught my attention when he started playing one of my favorite songs with a guitar whilst singing it perfectly. He's just so cute, talented, and charming that I sorta liked him that time. Don't we all girls want that kind of guy? But unfortunately , they're hard to find. I even had to go some place else just to find that kind.

The pathetic part is that I even searched friendster intentionally just to find him. What's even pathetic is that I even read every testimonial this guy has, stared at his photos, browsed his profile and bookmarked him on my laptop before i realized what i was doing is pathetic. Pathetic right?

I don't usually do that thing where I stalk people at friendster. It's just out of boredom since I didn't sleep at all and he's really like uber cute and like talented and like hard to find.

Anyway, I'm about to take a bath now coz i don't wanna meet chiz escudero smelling like i've just gotten out of bed. right? =D

PGC class field trip. Destination: Senate, House, Sandiganbayan, Manila City Hall. Part I
I am so excited about the field trip later. Our field trip for our Philippine Government and Constitution class will be held at different government branches such as the House of Representatives, the Senate, Sandiganbayan, and at the Manila City Hall.

At first, I didn't want to join the trip because it's a waste of money. Imagine, we paid 500 pesos for that trip when in fact we can go there by commuting using good ol jeepneys. At the end, I've decided to join because it's not like I can go there whenever I want to. What? If I wanted to see Chiz Escudero, am I supposed to ask my classmates to come with me to the House and expect them to come just like that? No? Therefore, I'll go with the class.

Anyways, it's past 12 and the trip will be 6 am later. If I sleep, I'd wake up like late and I'd miss the trip. So no, no sleep for me today.

Wish me luck, I am really hoping to see some opposition congressmen or senators. Say, Chiz Escudero. yum. lol. Is it just me or are you crushing on that old hot gentleman too? So there, my hopes are high. =)

My mother thinks I'm a drug user
I have been telling myself that I should sleep early because nowadays i look 10 years older. There was a point in my life when my own mother tells me that I'm pretty and she wonders why does she have daughters who are beautifu. And just like what every mother would want to hear, I told her it's through the help of her genes. That was a loong time ago.

College is a whole lot of story. You know when you were a kid and you ask your mother or father which is more fun, highschol or college? They say college but you beg to disagree because you were still in high school and you know nothing about college. Trust me, when you get in college, there'll be some point when you wish you'd never graduated form high school.

Anyway, last week when my mom entered my room, she asked me a question that no one on the right frame of mind would want to hear. "Nagdrudrugs ka ba? Bakit ang itim ng mata mo? Tingnan mo ang pangit mo na, mukha kang drug addict. At chaka bakit gising ka pa ng alas tres ng madaling araw? Hindi ka ba natutulog? Nagdrudrugs na no?" And then the following day she saw a stool at the bathroom, "Bakit may silya sa banyo? Ano yung tinatago mo sa kisame?"

My mom is definitrely hallucinating but I can't blame her because there's no arguement that I, though i hate to admit it, look like a drug user. Maybe it's the connotation that if you are raccoon-eyed you might be a drug user because most drug users have big dark eye circles. It's what people thinks, and what my mom too.

I have raccoon eyes because I sleep very late at night, and not becauseI am a drug addict. lol. I sleep late at night because i'm constantly trying to chase college requirements. Studying for a quiz, for a major exam, building projects and the rest is dedicated for my own "worry time". I'm trying to sleep early, it's even on my resolutions list. I just can't. Hence, dark eye circles. =)

Profanity is out
My mom is perhaps still mad at me bacause I blurted the forbidden syllables such as PUTANGINA MO! I was in the kitchen when my sisteer asked me when are we going to the gym and I didn't answer her because the first thing that came out my mouth was the word PUTANGINA MO.

"EH PUTANGINA MO PALA EH", thats's what I said to her. I wasn't able to finish the last syllable because my mom interupted me saying "HOOY!". That's when I realized she had a visitor who also heard my uber solid "PUTANGINA MO".

It was just an expression and I didn't mean it literally. Of course, I won't.

After her visitor left she told me to next time check if she has a visitor or none before I speak profanely.

Come on, if I had known that her friend was there I wouldn't go on speaking that way. Why speak vulgarly when you know that you would embarass yourself? Or WHY NOT? why not when it's better for people to know who you really are especially at home. Wherein you have a big chance of being liked (or not) because you are yourself.

Besides, it's just a simple tiny word that everybody loves to say.. "poootangina". I didn't kill an unborn fetus for crying out loud.

nakakahiya daw ako.. oh come on!

Dismissal Orders
Seriously, if there's one public official that should be dismissed, suspended, or impeached , it should be none other Gloria Macapagal Arroyo herself. Followed by Sec. Raul Gonzales, Mike Defensor, etc.

I am very concerned about the sudden dismissal orders given by the DILG to a few public officials. It just bugs me that whenever I watch the news at midnight, all I get to see are these mindless power-hungry politicians not wasting a single bit of opportunity to grab power from one another.

It just freaking annoys more than it disappoints me how these supposed-to-be-honorable public officials turns out to be biatch brawling disreputable bastards. Who could blame them when the number one position in this county is controlled by the same kind. Click here and judge for yourselves. ESCUDERO for SENATOR!

I really can't wait to see Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and her homeboys step down of their position. That wouldn't happen until the next presidential election if and when she decides not to run again. Or unless there'd be a people power which I doubt threre'd be since she is really one manipulative you know what.

The 2007 local elections is the closest I could get into getting rid of her perhaps and all of her annoying wing people. Obviously, I am not pro-administration. As a youth, I just don't see anything good coming out of Gloria's administration. It's been a couple of years now since GMA became the president yet we're still the same ol' third-world as we were before. Don't you think that we should've at least been progressive in the past 6 years if GMA is really the right person to lead the country?

So as early as now, I have a partial list of the candidates I'd vote for the local and senatorial elections. Number one on my list is none other than.....

Rep. FRANCIS JOSEPH "CHIZ" G. ESCUDERO

Before you enumerate to me reasons why you think Chiz Escudero is just another traditional politician, just bear with the fact that you and I are different. I prefer serious change in the government. No , I don't mean charter change silly. Besides, nothing can't make me believe that GMA is a good, honest, moral president.

Anyway, you know I really like Chiz Escudero ever since. He's a good representative of the people (probably the best), and a good public speaker as well. Perhaps every youth in this country has been moved by his candidness since not all politicians can speak with conviction the way he does. He's also very reputable public servant and he deserves the respect he gets from the people.

For more information regarding Rep. Chiz Escudero, you can visit his site HEEERRE.

Senju

If you are on a hunt for a great japanese restaurant, you might wanna try out Senju, formerly Nishiki, at the Edsa Shangrila Plaza Hotel. Aside from the perfect Japanese ambiance it provides, Senju also serves a wide array of authentic Japanese food.

I ordered this beef and it comes with a super delicious rice evaarr. The course also includes salad on the side with vinegrette dressing, miso soup. Although I’m not exactly sure about the black thing beside my carrot.

For dessert, we had Green Tea Mousse topped with monggo beans, and fresh slices of Tropical fruits on the side.

Senju is open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 6:30 to 10 p.m. daily. A buffet of all-time favorite Japanese dishes is available for lunch every Sunday.

At the end of the day, there are some things you just can't help but talk about. Some things we just don't want to hear, and some things we say because we can't be silent any longer. Some things are more than what you say. They're what you do. Some things you say because you have no other choice. Some things you keep to yourself. Slammin' Strawberry Waffle at the UST Carpark.

Earlier this day, we ate at a restaurant, well not exactly a restaurant as much as a fastfood chain, called Top Eats. It is located at the second floor of the UST carpark area.

One of my resolutions is to watch I eat that's why I ended up ordering a waffle. It's not your ordinary waffle stuffed with chicken or tuna or hotdog or whatever it is. Actually, I hate those kind of waffles. The ones they sell at those popular waffle carts. Chicken waffle? That is so gross. I hate chicken on my pasta and even more on my waffle.

I am really trying to keep that resolution so there I was, eating my Slammin' Strawberry Waffle while 5 of my classmates were eating sisig, topsilog and korean barbecue.

Aside from the fact that my waffle tastes heavenly, it only cost me 50 pesos ($1). That is the cheapest on their menu. One of my classmates ordered a carbonara and it cost her 95 pesos ($2) just for that litle micro mini small serving. I'm like, this costs 95 pesos? Are they kidding? It's either they had a mistake on handing that very small serving or they really are overpricing.

If you are a thomasian, you might wanna pay them a visit. They are located at the second floor of the carpark.

Note: my day ends with waffle, baked macaroni with garlic bread stick, softdrinks (OMFG, I did drink softdrinks earlier. How come I didn't notice? Oh well, that would be the last.. I freaking promisssssssse.) and coffee shoved into my stomach. Now that is what I call a freakin fool's diet.
